Bleaching Earth Is A Kind Of Clay Which Is Used To Remove Colors From Chemicals Or Edibles. These Materials Are Of Two Types, Namely Fuller’s Earth Which Has Absorption Features In Natural Condition And Activated Clay In Which Absorptive Forces Are Weak In Natural Condition And Are Strengthened By Heat Or Chemical Actions. These Earths Are Used For Purification And Removing The Color Of Materials. Thanks To Their Low Cost And High Absorption, Natural And Activated Bleaching Earths Are Absorbents Which Are Widely Used In Decoloration Of Vegetable Oils And Other Types Of Oil. Economically, Use Of Such Earths Seems To Be More Suitable Than Other Color Removing Methods In The Treatment Of Wastewaters Containing Color. Bentonite Trade Name (Brand) Is Used In The Industries For Purification Of Edible And Industrial Oils. It Absorbs Waste And Harmful Materials And Colors Of The Said Oils.
