Reviewing the 100-year old age of oil industry, denotes that oil industry has experienced various changes regarding development & production and at the same time had a very high growth in both sections. In production section, instead of relying on foreign companies (Especially in the time of Consortium) we have established and supported many local Companies, and today we observe performance of mega projects by said companies and contractors. After completion of these projects and reaching the production stage, Refineries are mostly managed by state-run entities that are sub-divisional organizations of Oil Ministry. Nowadays one of the most necessities in the Oil Industry of country is observing the 44th act of constitutional law related to privatization of producing units which aims to create fundamental changes in growth and promotion of this industry by presence of qualified contractors as it is in development unit. In the recent years different and important attempts have been done to reach this goal, but it couldn’t be thoroughly achieved for the following reasons: - Organizational structure inefficiencies of the industry. - Shortage or inapplicability of updated standards, shortage of specialists with in depth knowledge of commissioning, production and maintenance issues. - Unfamiliarity or not using specific state of the art software that adversely impacted quality and quantity of production seriously. however, by reviewing structure, removing shortages and optimum use of up-to-date technology can facilitate reaching this goal and also facilitate creating a great change in production section. in the fields of commissioning and operation each with varied degree of capability, most have limited their efforts to only obtaining contracts to supply manpower, equipment or parts. In order to provide all encompassing and far reaching services to potential end users, Petropars Company Decided to create an operational management structure and inaugurated Petropars Operation and Management Company, comprised of Iranian experts’ experience and Technical and updated Know-How knowledge of Business partner and network. This new Company brings the presence of Petropars in the fields of pre- commissioning, commissioning, quality & quantity test of operation and guidance of gas, oil and petrochemical production facilities and could plan the appropriate work & time table by taking the advantage of softwares and international standard guidelines and also could apply the Iranian and expatriate expertise for executing safe & acceptable commissioning and trouble free and cost conscious operation plans.
